How is a root canal performed?
First, your tooth will be numbed with a local anesthetic. We will then remove the decay and inflamed pulp tissue so that we can thoroughly clean and disinfect the tooth canals. Once this is complete, the canals will be dried and sealed with an antimicrobial material, called gutta-percha. The final step is to restore your tooth with a crown to prevent future fractures.
