Serenity Dental Studio is proud to serve patients in Frisco as well as other nearby communities, including Little Elm, Fairview, Allen, and McKinney. Our office is close to Highway 121, which helps patients from all over the area get to our practice quickly and easily. We are also conveniently located near many excellent schools in the area, including Bessie Gunstream Elementary, Armetha Norris Elementary, Independence High School, and Centennial High School, which helps make school-day appointments a breeze. If there’s anything we can do to make your visits better or more streamlined, all you have to do is ask!
Dr. Rita Kengskool
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Kengskool always appreciated the arts and sciences. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition and went on to earn a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers. Dr. Kengskool earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. Following dental school, Dr. Kengskool completed a General Practice Residency at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Glen Ridge, NJ.
Dr. Kengskool enjoys practicing dentistry because it is the perfect combination of art and science. She wishes to help all her patients comfortably achieve a healthy smile through education and quality comprehensive care.
After working for several years as an associate, Dr. Kengskool knew it was time to channel her skills into her own practice. She wanted to provide an unparalleled dental experience to patients, by using state-of-the-art equipment and creating a tranquil office environment.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her Shiba Inu. She loves traveling, exploring new places and going on culinary adventures around the world. Whenever she has a chance, you can find her whipping up something new in the kitchen.
Dr. Holvin Louie, DDS, MS
Board-Certified Periodontist
Dr. Louie is an experienced periodontist who provides specialty services in advanced periodontics and dental implant surgery in Dallas-Fort Worth. He also conducts wisdom teeth extractions under intravenous (IV) moderate sedation.
Dr. Louie attended both college and dental school at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) for eight consecutive years and obtained his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate degrees. Subsequently, he completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) while concurrently working in private practice. Dr. Louie then earned his specialty certificate in Periodontics and his Master of Science (MS) degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Louie is passionate about his specialty and strives to provide exemplary patient care. With a solid foundation in restorative dentistry, Dr. Louie understands the importance of comprehensive interdisciplinary care to deliver professional excellence. He is not only friendly and compassionate during each patient interaction, but also practical and detail-oriented. Dr. Louie educates his patients regarding the best available treatment choices to help them achieve maximum success in saving and maintaining their natural teeth and implants.
Dr. Louie is also a proud member of several dental organizations, including the American Board of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Southwest Society of Periodontists, and the Dallas Asian Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Louie’s MS research involving titanium implants was presented onstage at an Academy of Osseointegration Annual Meeting.
When he’s not working with patients, Dr. Louie loves spending time with his wife, Dr. Julia Peng, who is a pediatric dentist. Together, they enjoy eating good food and spending quality time with family and friends. Dr. Louie is also fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
