When facing multiple extractions or missing teeth, dentures are a great option for restoring your smile.
Dentures play an essential role in replacing missing teeth and maintaining the structure of your bone. Dentures also give support to your cheeks and lips so that your face doesn’t begin to droop. We carefully customize dentures to fit your natural profile so you can properly eat and smile again.
What Types of Dentures are There?
Full dentures are for patients who are missing all of their teeth. They are held in by the natural suction of your palate and gums or by using denture adhesive.
Immediate dentures are temporary dentures that are delivered immediately after multiple extractions. These may require a reline or possibly a new set of dentures once your gum tissue has fully healed.
Partial dentures are for patients who are missing some teeth but still have some natural teeth that will help anchor the appliance.
Implant-supported dentures are dentures that attach to 2-4 implants depending on the case. These are also removable.
